Workflow security for the AI era.

In 2025, I joined founder Osagie Johnson as the founding designer of Remo, an AI governance platform that stops sensitive data from leaking into AI tools. As the solo head of design, I led the brand, product, website and investor story, and built the design system from the ground up. We knew we had to stand apart in a security market full of locks and warnings, but not how. Then, on a brainstorming call, we got talking about Osagie's dog, Remo, and it clicked: a dog is the original security companion. It keeps watch and makes you feel safe, not watched. The challenge was making the brand soft without ever feeling soft on protection. It took rounds of illustration, type and color to get there. Prospective customers and investors found it cute, but not too cute, and understood what Remo did almost instantly. In a category that often feels like big brother, Remo felt like a companion. The MVP I designed lets security officers set a policy in three steps, watch files get classified in real time, tell a bad actor from a team innocently cleaning a client list, and pull tamper-evident proof for every event.
